A little history
Established in 1979
In 1979, the “Café Liliane” was established as a typical coffee house and ice cream parlour and named after the owner's oldest daughter.
In 2001, a pizza oven and a small kitchen were installed and the Café Liliane was turned into a pizzeria and ice cream parlour.
Soon the owner Otto Kager decided to lease the restaurant. Different leaseholders alternate in the management.
On March 1st, 2017 Dietmar Kager (tenant and son of Haus Kager), after many years of experience in well-known hotels and restaurants, took over the restaurant.
On March 1st, 2020, after a short winter break, a new kitchen replaced the old one, but after a week, the restaurant had to close by the end of April due to the first Corona-lockdown.
After the very varied, difficult, but very positive 2020, we hope for a better 2021 for everyone and look forward to pampering our guests in addition to pizza with a small kitchen menu with weekly and seasonal changes.
